This notice is issued by Roslyn Wood under the trading name www.roslynjewellery.co.uk.The term “Roslyn Jewellery” or “us” or “we” or “I” refers to the owner of the website whose registered office is at 10 Glamis Close, Walderslade, Kent, ME5 7QQ. The term “you” refers to the user or viewer of our website.

Neither we nor any third parties provide any warranty or guarantee as to the accuracy, timeliness, performance, completeness or suitability of the information and materials found or offered on this website for any particular purpose. You acknowledge that such information and materials may contain inaccuracies or errors and we expressly exclude liability for any such inaccuracies or errors to the fullest extent permitted by law. Shipping and Returns
We aim to offer to post out your fingerprint moulding kit within 48 hours of receiving your order. Once we have received your fingerprint impression back we aim to make your item within 14-21 days. Usually sooner but we reserve the right to extend this to 28 days especially during busier periods such as around Christmas, Mother’s Day and Father’s Day. Any possible delay will be communicated to you.
The fingerprint moulding kit & postage thereof is included in the price of the item you order. Should you require a replacement kit to be sent to you this can be done for an additional £5.
All items are handmade to order, if you need the items by a certain date, please check that we can accommodate you in time before ordering.
You have the choice to have your items for UK delivery sent by Royal Mail First Class Recorded, which is not insured and you accept liability for the item. The alternative is ‘Royal Mail Special Delivery’ service. This is an insured service for jewellery and a signature will be required upon delivery. All items for delivery outside of the UK will be sent by ‘Royal Mail International Signed For’ service. A signature will be required upon delivery. Postage charges are £7.50. Next day Special Delivery before 1pm service or £4.50 first class recorded. Postage is calculated based on value of your order.
We will always contact you should an item be out of stock. In this instance you will always be given the option of placing the item on back order, choosing an alternative or we will refund your transaction.
Goods ordered from the Website for delivery outside the United Kingdom may be subject to import duties and/or additional taxes or expenses incurred due to complying with foreign regulatory requirements or laws. You will be responsible for payment of any such duties and/or taxes in addition to our price including the cost of delivery. Please note that we have no control over these charges and cannot predict their amount. Please contact your local customs office or taxation authority for further information before placing your order. Please note that when shipping products internationally, you should be aware that cross border shipments are subject to opening and inspection by customs authorities. Please also note that you must comply with all applicable laws and regulations of the country for which the Goods are destined. We will not be liable for any breach by you of any such laws.
Your Right To Cancel
You may normally cancel your order (once accepted by us) for any reason prior to the dispatch of the fingerprint moulding kit. If you do cancel the contract within this time any payments made by you will be refunded in full within 30 days. Once the moulding kit has been dispatched, a cancellation/admin charge of £20 will apply if these are returned unused. If the fingerprint kit has already been used an additional £3.50 will apply. If you have returned the fingerprint moulds, and we are already working on your jewellery, we regret that the order cannot be cancelled. In this instance, please follow the guidelines for Returns / Refunds. Orders for personalised engraving can only be cancelled prior to the piece of jewellery being fired, but will incur a 25% charge. Once the piece has been fired please follow the guidelines for Returns / Refunds.
Late/Non Arrival of Delivery
If your delivery is late or doesn’t arrive within the quoted delivery timescale please contact us by email to firstname.lastname@example.org or telephone on 07793 848 509. In the event of a non-delivery we can only allow a replacement / refund after 20 working days has passed. This is the time scale for the Royal Mail to classify a parcel as lost.
Returns & Refunds
We hope you will be pleased with your purchases from Roslyn Jewellery. However, in the unlikely event that an error has been made on our part please email email@example.com or telephone 07793 848 509 within 7 days for instructions for returning the item. We cannot accept returns on Bespoke / Made To Order / Special / Personalised orders. Please make sure you have ordered correctly before contacting us. We cannot be held responsible for customers not having as clearly defined fingerprints as they would like, not following instructions correctly when taking impressions, ordering the wrong item or misspelling personalised orders. As with all jewellery, links can be opened or broken if not treated with care. Please check your jewellery carefully when you receive it and contact me within 7 days if it is delivered faulty or damaged.
Retention of Title
The title to all goods remains with Roslyn Jewellery until received by the customer. Your statutory rights remain intact at all times. In the unlikely event of a return please e-mail roslynjewellery.co.uk or telephone 07793 848 509 and we will give you return address details. Once we have approved your return request, you will be asked to return the item by insured Special delivery. We are not responsible for any items lost / damaged in transit to us. In the event of a faulty item needing to be returned, your shipping costs will be refunded.
By law, customers in the European Union have the right to withdraw from the purchase of an item within seven working days of the day after the date the item is delivered. This applies to all of products except bespoke artwork, personalised and made to order items. To cancel your purchase within the seven-working-day cooling-off period, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org then package the relevant item(s) securely and send it to the address given to you when we respond to your email, so that we receive it within seven working days of the day after the date that the item was delivered to you. We request you use the Special Delivery service, with sufficient insurance to cover the value of your item(s). Please note that you will be responsible for the costs of returning the items to us unless we delivered the item to you in error, or if the item is damaged or defective. You should be aware that once we begin the delivery process you will not be able to cancel any contract you have with us for additional services carried out by us (e.g. bespoke artwork). As soon as we receive notice of your order cancellation, we will refund the relevant part of the purchase price for that item together with the item’s normal postage charge. We cannot refund any priority, express or courier component of the postage charge.
